Frequently Asked Questions

As a skin care clinic, we often get many questions form patients in regards to the health of their skin. It is not uncommon for patients to feel a little uneasy about having a skin examination, so we have answered some of the more common questions we get asked. Of course, we are always happy to answer any concerns from patients, so feel free to get in touch with us.

How long are Appointments?

All new and first appointments with patients are 30 minutes long. Any follow up appointments are 20 minutes. All though they may not seem long, our doctors ensure your appointment time is used to give to the right information. We don’t waste time, we get straight to the point and tell you exactly what is happening and if you require any further appointments.

Do I Need a Referral from my GP?

No, you don’t need a referral from your GP to see us. Simply call our clinic and make an appointment and we’ll see you at the earliest convenience. We make it easy for patients to see our doctors and all information is disclosed. If need be, we can refer you to public services.

Can I use my health Insurance?

Yes, absolutely you can. We are accepted by most health insurers in New Zealand, but be sure to check with us first to see if your insurer allows us. We are also Southern Cross affiliated, so you know you are getting the best treatment available.
